Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, not painted or installed. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@heidts.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 800 Oakwood Rd. Lake Zurich, IL 60047 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Warranty Returns. To make a claim under the warranty described above, Purchaser is required to return the defective Product to Heidts, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Heidts.  Prior to returning any such Product to be assessed for defect by Heidts, Purchaser is required to contact Heidts to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). The Product must be shipped to Heidts freight prepaid.  If the Product is returned within a period of 13 months from the date on which the Product was shipped by Heidts and is deemed to be defective by Heidts, Heidts, at its option, will (i) repair the Product, (ii) replace the Product or (iii) provide the Purchase with a full or partial credit towards the purchase of other Products.  Heidts will have no obligation under any warranty if Heidts determines that the cause of failure was not due to a defect of material or workmanship, or if the failure was caused by misuse, neglect, modification or improper installation or repair of the warranted Product.  In such an event, the Product will be returned to Purchaser at its expense.


Return Merchandise. Products may be returned only with the consent of Heidts.  Prior to returning any Product, Purchaser must contact Heidts to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA).  Products accepted for return are subject to a 15% restocking charge.  All Products approved for return must be shipped freight prepaid. Products that have been used, altered, incomplete or are in other than “new condition” will not be accepted for return.  No returns will be accepted more than 30 days after the date of shipping.

 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
