For those that don’t know, Heidts has an extensive collection of truck 4-link and IFS suspensions. A few years back, we got in to the C10 and F100 trucks for the 60’s-70 model years, creating a heavy duty package that would stand up to whatever someone threw at it. This particular 1970 C10 was actually used as one of our fitment vehicles and was the first production ready 4-link and Superide II on the road for Heidts. Powered by a small block Chevy crate motor putting power through a Tremec trans, this truck gets going and looks great doing it. Ride quality and drive ability have been significantly improved though the adjustable coilover shocks, power rack and pinion steering and disc brakes with Wilwood calipers front and back. What’s even better is that all of that is standard equipment when purchasing the kit. This is a kit that needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate how well engineered and beefed up everything is. Enjoy the photos, and if you have one yourself you’d like to build, let us know and we can help you out.
